The PADI Rescue Diver course is an exhilarating journey that challenges and rewards you in equal measure. Building upon your existing knowledge, this course equips you with essential skills to prevent and manage dive-related emergencies effectively.
What to Expect
Comprehensive Training
The course emphasises accident prevention and basic rescue skills underwater, at the surface, and on board the boat. Through engaging eLearning materials and practical in-water sessions, you'll learn how to recognise and respond to potential dive hazards with confidence and competence.
Hands-On Scenarios
After completing the eLearning portion, you'll join us for two action-packed days of training. You'll start with a quick review to reinforce safety-related concepts before diving into skill practice in the pool. Finally, you'll put your new found knowledge to the test with thrilling rescue scenarios in open water, simulating real-life emergencies.
Flexible Scheduling
This two-day course (three days if completing EFR training) can be scheduled on any weekend, accommodating your busy schedule. As long as we have at least two participants, we're ready to dive into action whenever suits you best.
Course Prerequisites:
Pass basic medical screening
Be an Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
Age: 12 - 99 (Divers certified between the ages of 12-14 earn a Junior Diver certification)
EFR Qualified (or qualifying certification, no more than 24 months old, training may be completed along with the rescue diver course)
