Scuba Diving Holidays & Group Dive Trips with Abyss Scuba School
At Abyss Scuba School, we’re expanding our horizons beyond the classroom and pool to offer scuba diving holidays and group dive trips designed for every level of diver. Our goal is to make dive travel easy, enjoyable, and accessible bringing our trademark safety, professionalism, and community spirit to every adventure.
All of our dive trips and holidays are planned and led by qualified Instructors and Divemasters, ensuring a safe and supportive environment whether you’re travelling solo, with friends, or as part of our dive club.
Each trip will include quality diving, social experiences, and the opportunity to continue your PADI diver training while exploring new environments. From weekend getaways in the UK to overseas adventures, every journey will be carefully organised so you can focus on what you love most diving.
Gozo Diving Holiday
29 May–5 June 2027 | Gozo, Malta

Ten dives, seven nights on Gozo and a week away with the Abyss crew. Join Abyss Scuba School for a mix of boat and shore diving, with time to relax and enjoy the island together.
We’ll spend five days diving with Gozo Dive St Andrews, with two dives each day. Two days of boat diving and three days of shore diving will give us a varied week exploring the island’s underwater scenery.
Our base will be sea-view apartments at Gozo Dive Residence in Xlendi, close to the dive centre. You’ll have your own bedroom within a shared three-bedroom apartment, with time to explore, enjoy the local restaurants and relax with the group.
Come with a buddy or join us on your own, it’s a sociable week away with plenty to enjoy above and below the surface.
The Week’s Plan
Saturday 29 May — Arrive and settle in
Arrive in Malta and transfer to Gozo, including the ferry crossing. Settle into your apartment and meet up with the Abyss crew.
Five days of diving — Ten dives
Enjoy two boat-diving days and three shore-diving days, with two guided dives each day. Sites and the running order will be selected to suit the group’s qualifications, experience and local conditions.
Time to relax
Explore Xlendi, enjoy the local food and share the day’s stories with the group. The final diving schedule will allow for the required interval before flying.
Saturday 5 June — Head home
Check out after seven nights, with the return ferry crossing and airport transfer included.

Price is based on three paying divers per apartment, each with their own bedroom. Flights, meals, personal equipment hire, Nitrox, optional dives, training, travel and diving insurance, and coin-operated air conditioning are not included. Accommodation and room arrangements are subject to confirmation when booking.

Porthkerris Dive & Camping Weekend
23–26 July 2027 | Cornwall
£250 per diver · Optional full kit hire

Four boat dives, unlimited shore diving and three nights camping together, join Abyss Scuba School for a summer weekend at Porthkerris.
We’ll spend Saturday and Sunday diving, with two boat dives each day and shore diving included for those who want to explore more. Back at camp, there’s time to relax, share the day’s stories and enjoy a weekend away with the Abyss crew.
Come with friends or join us on your own, it’s a great opportunity to get to know other divers and spend a few days by the sea.
The Weekend Plan
Friday 23 July — Arrive and settle in
Arrive at Porthkerris, set up camp and settle in with the group before the weekend’s diving.
Saturday 24 July — Two boat dives
Our first day includes two boat dives, with unlimited shore diving also available around the boat schedule.
Sunday 25 July — Two more boat dives
Head out for another two boat dives, with further opportunities to enjoy the shore diving before our final evening at camp.
Monday 26 July — Pack up and head home
Pack away the camping gear and head home after three nights together on the Cornish coast.

Lundy Island Dive Weekend
10–12 september 2027 | Ilfracombe & Lundy Island

We’re heading back to Lundy! Join Abyss Scuba School for two boat dives, two nights away and the chance to encounter the island’s grey seals.
We’ll stay together in Ilfracombe and spend Saturday out on the boat, exploring the waters around Lundy. Back ashore, there’s time to enjoy dinner, share the day’s stories and relax with the Abyss crew.
Come with friends or join us on your own—it’s a sociable weekend away with plenty to enjoy above and below the surface.

The Weekend Plan
Friday — Arrive and settle in
Check in at the Dilkhusa Grand Hotel in Ilfracombe, our base for two nights, and meet up with the group.
Saturday — Two boat dives at Lundy
Depart from Ilfracombe for a full day on the water, with two guided dives around Lundy and opportunities to encounter its grey seals. The boat has a toilet and dive lift.
Sunday — Breakfast and head home
Enjoy breakfast and a stroll around Ilfracombe before heading home.

Ten boat dives, seven nights by the Red Sea and a week away with the Abyss crew, join Abyss Scuba School for our Hurghada diving holiday.
We’ll enjoy five days of diving, with two dives each day and lunch and refreshments served on board. There’s time between dives to relax, compare underwater sightings and enjoy being out on the water.
Our base is the Geisum Beach Hotel, with breakfast included. Airport transfers and daily transport between the hotel and dive boat are also covered, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the week.
Come with a dive buddy or join the group and get to know other Abyss divers while exploring the Red Sea together.
