Bognor Regis Seafront
Bognor Regis offers two distinctive local dive sites: the Far Mulberry and Bognor Reef.
The Far Mulberry
is a Second World War Mulberry Harbour structure located approximately one mile offshore in around 10 metres of water. Usually accessed by boat, its structure attracts a variety of fish and marine life.
Bognor Reef
is a shallow shore dive near West Park and Aldwick Beach. Its rocky formations lie among the surrounding sand in approximately 5 metres of water and provide habitats for crabs, lobsters, wrasse and cuttlefish.
Bognor Reef is generally dived approximately three hours before or four hours after local high water. Exact entry times depend on the tide, weather and sea conditions and will be confirmed before organised dives.
Selsey Seafront
Selsey Lifeboat Station offers a varied local shore dive with rocky ground and plenty of opportunities to encounter UK marine life. Divers may see crabs, lobsters, wrasse, cuttlefish and other seasonal visitors, with occasional seahorse sightings in the surrounding habitat.
Dives are generally planned for approximately four hours before or three hours after local high water, depending on the tidal range, weather and sea conditions. The site can provide relaxed exploration, drift diving and night-diving opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced divers.
A visible surface marker buoy should be used throughout the dive because lifeboats, fishing vessels and other boats operate in the area. Exact entry times and suitability will be checked and confirmed by Abyss Scuba School before organised dives.
Swanage Pier

Vobster Quay
At Vobster Quay, adventure awaits beneath the surface with an array of captivating dive attractions catering to divers of all levels. Stoney Cove
Since its inception in the 1960s, Stoney Cove has evolved into a premier destination for diving enthusiasts, boasting an array of underwater attractions and facilities to cater to divers of all levels.
Over the years, extensive efforts have been made to ensure Stoney Cove remains at the forefront of diver training, setting a benchmark for excellence that other centers strive to emulate.
In addition to its exceptional dive training facilities, Stoney Cove features a comprehensive dive store offering a wide selection of gear at competitive prices. After a day of diving, divers can unwind at Nemo's, the onsite bar and restaurant, offering a welcoming atmosphere and delicious refreshments.

Wraysbury Dive Centre
Wraysbury Dive Centre, located just outside London, is one of the premier inland dive sites in the South East of England. Offering a 15-acre lake filled with a wide range of underwater attractions, Wraysbury is perfect for both beginner and experienced divers alike. The lake is home to an array of fascinating features, including the fuselage of a 737 aircraft, a sunken bus, boats, cars, and even a diving bell, all waiting to be explored.
With depths ranging up to 12 meters, Wraysbury provides a safe and enjoyable environment for training, practice, and leisure dives. The centre is fully equipped with modern facilities, including a dive shop, classroom, and on-site catering, ensuring that your diving experience is comfortable and well-supported.

Tapwood Lake
Set within the Surrey Hills near Reigate, Tapwood Lake is a private inland diving venue offering clear freshwater diving and depths of up to approximately 33 metres. Its sheltered setting and varied depth make it particularly useful for qualified divers developing their experience, practising skills and completing suitable advanced or speciality training.
The lake’s depth provides opportunities for progressive dive planning and deeper training in a controlled inland environment. Visibility is typically good compared with many UK inland sites, although conditions can vary with the season and weather. Water at depth remains cold throughout the year, so appropriate exposure protection is essential.
Access to Tapwood Lake must be arranged in advance through an authorised member dive centre or club; individual divers cannot book directly. When Abyss Scuba School is using the lake, we will provide the relevant meeting, entry and equipment information before your visit. All dives remain subject to qualification, experience, course requirements and current site conditions.
