All servicing is arranged through our trusted third-party service centre, approved to the highest industry standards. We are able to service a wide range of leading brands, including:
AP Diving, Apeks, Aqualung, Atomic, Beaver, Beuchat, Cressi-Sub, Dive-Rite, Halcyon, Mares, Oceanic, Poseidon, Scubapro, Seac, Sherwood, Tigulio, and Tusa.

Abyss Scuba School acts as a booking and drop-off point, making it simple for you to keep your kit maintained and dive-ready.

Regulator Servicing

Your regulator is your life-support system underwater, and regular servicing is essential for both performance and safety.

Price: £195 per set (includes 1 first stage, 2 second stages, and an SPG if applicable).

What’s Included:

  • Full strip-down of all components

  • Ultrasonic cleaning of every removable part

  • Reassembly using manufacturer-approved service kits

  • O-rings and hose ends checked and replaced

  • Final functional testing in and out of water

⚠️ Prices are based on regulators serviced in line with manufacturer guidelines. Neglected or damaged equipment may require additional work at extra cost.

Regulator Servicing
from £145.00

Professional servicing for your regulator set (1st stage, 2x 2nd stages, SPG). Includes full strip-down, ultrasonic clean, reassembly with genuine manufacturer parts, and functional testing.
We service leading brands including AP Diving, Apeks, Aqualung, Atomic, Beaver, Beuchat, Cressi-Sub, Dive-Rite, Halcyon, Mares, Oceanic, Poseidon, Scubapro, Seac, Sherwood, Tigulio, and Tusa.

BCD Servicing

Your BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment — it keeps you afloat at the surface and provides control underwater.

Price: £70

What’s Included:

  • Full strip-down of inflator and dump valves

  • Cleaning of all valves and inflator units

  • Antibacterial cleaning of the bladder

  • Reassembly with serviceable parts replaced where required

  • Inflation test to confirm the BCD holds air and operates correctly

⚠️ Additional charges may apply if the BCD shows signs of damage or neglect.

Cylinder Servicing

Your diving cylinder is a vital piece of life-support equipment and must be tested in line with UK law (PSSR 2000) and IDEST standards to remain safe and compliant.

Legal Testing Requirements

  • Visual Inspection: every 2.5 years

  • Hydrostatic Test: every 5 years

All cylinder servicing is carried out by a trusted third-party IDEST-approved test centre.

Cylinder Servicing
from £35.00

Cylinder inspections and testing carried out to UK law (PSSR 2000) and IDEST standards. Options include Visuals, Hydrostatic Tests, O₂ Cleaning, and Valve Servicing.
We handle a wide range of valves and cylinder brands and ensure all work is completed to IDEST and HSE

Turnaround Time

  • Standard turnaround: 10–14 working days

  • May take up to 4 weeks during busy periods or if parts are delayed

  • Abyss Scuba School cannot guarantee completion times

Important Notes

  • All servicing is carried out by a trusted third-party service centre; Abyss Scuba School acts only as a booking and drop-off service.

  • Additional work, if required, will always be quoted and agreed before proceeding.

  • Items not collected within 90 days of completion may be disposed of.
