Continue your child’s underwater learning with PADI Master Seal Team at Abyss Scuba School. Designed for children aged eight and above who have completed Seal Team, these sessions take place in our private heated indoor pool at Littlehampton Marina, West Sussex.
With clear explanations and support from our PADI professionals, children build on their existing skills through new activities and speciality AquaMissions.
Course Prerequisites
Minimum age: 8 years
Completed the initial five PADI Seal Team AquaMissions
Basic swimming skills and confidence in the water
Complete the required medical screening before taking part
Parent or guardian consent required
Course Details
Session length: 45 minutes
Format: Ongoing sessions, held fortnightly
Master Seal Team gives children opportunities to practise familiar skills and try new underwater challenges. Our heated pool provides a comfortable learning environment, while the viewing window allows parents and carers to watch their progress.
Sessions build on the foundations developed during Seal Team.
What to Expect
Each session begins with an explanation of the planned activities before children practise their skills through supervised speciality AquaMissions.
Activities introduce topics such as underwater navigation, marine life identification, search and recovery, and buoyancy control. Children apply their existing skills while learning new techniques through practical pool challenges.
They work towards PADI Master Seal Team recognition by successfully completing the required speciality AquaMissions and skills.

What Happens Next?
Children can continue developing their pool skills and enjoying new activities. From age ten, we can also discuss whether the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course would be a suitable next step.
Master Seal Team is a pool-based programme and does not qualify children to dive independently in open water.
